Hosting
This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The provider processes data (including access data) on my behalf on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place.
Server log files
When the pages are accessed, the host automatically collects information in server log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, IP address, time of request). This data ensures trouble-free operation and is not merged with other data sources.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form or email me, I process the data you provide (name, email, optionally company, industry and topic, message) to handle your enquiry. Form submissions are additionally stored in a self-hosted database (not shared with third parties); to prevent abuse and spam your IP address is processed briefly. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required, at the latest after 6 months.
Web analytics (Umami)
This site uses Umami, a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. Umami sets no cookies and stores no personal data; IP addresses are not stored permanently and visits are recorded only in anonymised, aggregated form. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All data stays on our own server in the EU.
Fonts
The fonts used (Space Grotesk, Instrument Sans, JetBrains Mono) are served locally from this server. No data is transmitted to Google or other third parties.

Right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or the alleged infringement.
